Here are a few things I’ve picked up after photographing many weddings. Just small tweaks that can make a big difference on the day:

Add some breathing room to your timeline. Most weddings run 10 to 45 minutes behind, and that’s totally normal.
Go for timeless hair and makeup. Bring inspo pics, have a trial, and trust your stylist’s advice.
Thinking of doing a first look? It’s a great way to calm the nerves and get more time with your guests later.
Guest list getting out of hand? Focus on the people who make you feel most at home.
Appoint a calm, capable friend or planner to run the logistics so you can fully enjoy the moment.
