I'm drawn to the unscripted. The details, the in-between moments, the ones you didn't know were happening. On the day, that instinct shows up as intentional photography that still feels honest.

Part observation, part creative direction. The result is imagery with an editorial feel that holds up long after the day is over.

“Damon was incredible. Understood our style and personalities, listened to what we were thinking but couldn't articulate. Everyone loves the photos”

Why I shoot the way I do.

Why I shoot the way I do.

A wedding is one of the few days people point back to for the rest of their lives, and I get to be the one who sees all of it. The quiet look before the ceremony, the guest laughing in the corner, the small thing that happens while everyone's watching something else. Those are the frames that hold up.

My background in directing taught me to sit back and wait for the real moment instead of arranging one. That's still how I work. I stay out of the way, read the light, and step in only when it helps.

I shoot digital and carry 35mm film alongside it, because film holds a day the way memory does. What you get back is the day as it felt, not a performance of it.

One day.
No retakes.
Let's get it right.
